Nothings I Like To Notice

After having my eye zapped by a laser for which I signed a lengthy consent (and no doubt absolution) because a slip can mean blindness – staving off a blindness that’s a natural progression from my condition – I sat down to cook some dinner and wanted to enjoy my eyesight.

Outdoors cooking, because I stay in my van when in Canberra where the hospital performs the treatment. So I saw the Black Mountain tower sitting in the middle of the trees, and a seat below also in the middle. Totally nothing. I could move a couple of feet to the left or right and this occurrence goes. Yet everything, and representative of everything else.

I could see it.

Sight is a miracle.
