Life Interrupted. Interruption On Repeat.

Friday.

In four years I’ve never gone from Monday to Saturday without Friday sideswiping my life. Come to think of it, in four years I’ve never gone from Thursday to Saturday, either.

Friday comes along – every week, without fail – and wipes out anything continuous I would like to do, and in times of eye or health trouble Friday comes along and wipes out anything continuous, such as rest in my own bed in the place I pay for, that I NEED to do.

Wipes it out. Since being here I’ve never seen two weeks together one normal day after another. Friday comes along and wipes out whatever I’m doing or need to do.

So here I am again. The van is packed, just have to get food for a weekend put into it, and pack the electrical stuff like devices in case I have to live in a rest area on the highway. Only after Sunday morning do I know for sure I don’t have to live there.

UPDATE 16th November, Saturday, 2024.

This photo was taken when it was nearly dark, but the software is brightening it up beyond ambient light. I’m waiting for 9.30PM to come around. It did, and I drove past the neighbour and he wasn’t down. So I was able to sleep in my own bed last night and not in the rest area on the highway.
